Chris Park is a quaint one-acre public green space that sits in the middle of busy San Antonio. The park is also in the middle of a few of San Antonio’s most historic neighborhoods. This outdoor area is filled with greenery, ample walkways, and play structures. Just a few plants located within the park include the Bald Cypress, the Hong Kong Orchard, and the Hoja Santa.

You can also view art pieces that are incorporated into the park’s design by local artists. Wednesday’s Child features illuminated jeweled stepping stones that lead into the blooming garden. The Journal Benches have inscribed messages and are the perfect place to relax and get your creative juices flowing. The park is public, free, and is open from Tuesday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
