Recently, I turned in my truck for a recall repair which required the vehicle to stay all day. I never received updates and soon found out my truck was completed earlier than expected. Upon picking up my truck I realized that all the technicians had gone for the day and there was only one person remaining who couldn’t answer any of my questions. No one walked me through the repairs and I received my truck in dirtier condition. I’ve dealt with better dealerships I’m warning you to go somewhere else.

Update: Since posting this review, the service manager, Tony, has reached out to me directly to address the situation. He took the time to review what happened, made things right, and confirmed that they will honor two oil changes I should have left. I appreciate Tony’s follow-up and willingness to correct the issue. In August 2024, I purchased a 3-pack of oil changes with filters for my Dodge diesel from service advisor Domingo Chavez. My receipt clearly states three oil changes. In March 2025, Angie from the dealership contacted me about a free oil change promotion, which I accepted. When I called today so I could schedule service, I was told I now have no oil changes left. The “free” promotion was applied to the paid package I purchased. The dealership now claims I only bought two oil changes (buy one get one free) — which is not what I was told and not what my receipt shows. I was also asked to provide proof of the promotion, which I did not retain from Angie, as I had no reason to believe I would need to save emails from Angie to ensure the promotion would be honored. A free promotional service should not replace a paid one without clear disclosure. I also waited over 30 minutes to speak with a manager and was ultimately sent to an answering machine.

On January 17, 2026 I stopped by Bensons Auto to look at a 2021 Jeep wrangler that I had seen online. Upon arrival I was greeted by salesman Liam Gonzalez. Liam found the jeep and allowed my wife and I to test drive the vehicle. While test driving the Jeep white smoke was emitted from the engine. Liam seemed concerned about the smoke as was I. When I arrived at the dealership, I expressed to Liam that the smoke would be a deal breaker and that I was no longer interested in the vehicle at which he replied wait a minute and let me get my manager. He left and arrived at the location where we parked the vehicle with his Manager Cody Spores. The manager Cody assured me that the smoke was being emitted because the engine at been recently degreased and cleaned and stated that he was sending it to fleet maintenance to be looked over to make sure that it was not mechanical. Cody also stated that in the event that I was to purchase the vehicle there would be nothing to worry about because the vehicle was covered by Benson’s 3 month 3000 mile warranty and that if there was any issues there would not be any out of pocket expenses. Feeling reassured by the 3 month warranty I agreed that if the smoking was from the oils or solutions used to clean the engine bay I would consider buying the Jeep. I waited inside the dealership while the vehicle was taken to the mechanic to be looked over for the possibility smoking engine. While inside Liam and Cody once again pointed out the Benson’s 3 month warranty specifically a brochure that states each vehicle is fully inspected before going to sale. After a brief time, Cody returned and assured me that the Jeep was no longer smoking because it was as he had stated before caused by the chemicals used to clean the engine. I then proceeded with the purchase of the Jeep. On Monday January 19th only two days after the purchase of the Jeep the check engine light came on. On Tuesday January 20th I took it to Autozone to have the code checked and deleted incase it was glitch. The code reading was for a faulty intake manifold. The code immediately came back. On January 20th I advised Liam that the Jeep had a check engine light at which replied for me to take the Jeep to the dealership so it could be inspected. On January 22 I had the code checked one more time at Autozone and the reading returned for the same issue a bad manifold. Due to my work schedule and winter storm I was not able to take the Jeep to San Antonio until Wednesday January 28th. On the way up to the dealership the jeep once again smoked as it did the day that I test drove it. Upon arrival to the agency I did not find the same friendly service. Cody was nowhere to be found and non of the other sales associates wanted to help. After waiting the lobby for an extended period of time Cody finally appeared. He took the jeep to the back and asked me to wait. I didn’t feel like waiting and asked to be called with a result. I didn’t hear back from the dealership that day. The next day January 29th after repeatedly calling both the sales department and service department I finally made contact with a service representative that explained that the Jeep had an intake manifold that need to be replaced and that the manifold was not covered by the 3 year warranty. He also stated that the repair estimate was $2000. I returned to the dealership and told Cody I wanted to talk to his Supervisor. He brought his supervisor Justin Rodriguez. Justin told me that the part was not covered by the warranty and that the only thing he could do is offer a discount on the repair, which would be at no labor cost. I asked what that price would be and he said he would check. A short while later Cody returned with the price of the repair which was $950. I reluctantly agreed to this deal, I had already done my own research and was aware that a replacement manifold ranged from $300 to $500. For fear of driving the vehicle and causing damage I agreed.

Then it was on an extended test drive, but they couldn’t get in touch with the salesman. After all this, we were told the Jeep had been loaned out, and they were trying to get in touch with the customer. By this time, we had been at the dealership for well over 2 hours, being told one lie after another. We were told the Jeep would be there in 10 minutes, then it was 30 minutes, then it was real soon. Finally, I had had enough lies, and I walked out with the sales manager begging me to wait. 6. During this time, we found out the internet listed price didn’t include the dealer add ons like nitrogen air and mop in glo, etc. This was approximately a $9000 add which actually made the price the total MSRP. False advertising at its best. 7. The coup de grace was when I found out the Jeep you were asking full MSRP had almost 4000 miles on it. 8. This is the most disgraceful way to run a business I’ve seen in my adult life. Being straight out lied to multiple times is unacceptable and unforgivable. As you can imagine, I will never set foot on your dealership property, and my story will be heard by many Jeep owners. Social media is a powerful tool for us Jeep owners. Mr. Smith, if you are a reputable, moral, or ethical man, you should submit your resignation. If you’re Christian, pray for God’s forgiveness for how this dealership is operated. Sincerely, Jim Sims

I would rate with NEGATIVE STARS if possible, by far the WORST and most DISHONEST experience I've ever had at a dealership! Viewed the used car at the dealership one day then contacted them the next day to make an offer. It also had another $5K in add ons for a total price that was over $20K more than the on-line listed price. I asked why the base price was not the same as the on-line price and was told they have different levels of pricing that they will offer which may differ from their advertised price?! However, he did say that the advertised price is what got us in the door. Pretty sure that's not the best way to do business since I've never experienced such a dishonest process at any dealership and would never go back there or recommend this place to anyone. On a positive note, I guess maybe they just wanted to be dishonest to me in-person rather than on the phone...could've done without wasting almost 2 hours of driving though!!

Worst experience ever, service manager and assistant service manager kept lying and dis not do their work, they brush you away, they don’t want honor the warranty they provided, and confirmed by the manufacturer, dishonesty is their theme, lack of integrity can be seen. I had to do all the paperwork and photos myself to get the work done, after 2 months of going back and forth. They only care about how much money they can take out of your pockets, unethical dealership and so unprofessional. Will never go back to that dealership ever again

They tried to buy my truck for 9000 dollars but went to CARMAX and got 17000 and rushed everything so you won't catch anything I had to argue with them at the end about everything because they just threw numbers at you and hope they can get you the worst deal. If I could give this ZERO STARS, I would. This is the LAST dealership you would want to give your business to. After closing the deal for a trade-in, after being there for SIX HOURS, everything went down hill after that. I kept getting the turn around on when the new vehicle would be ready for almost 2 weeks. Mind you I live in Laredo. Sales Manager CODY and sales rep JORDAN BANKS, canceled the whole contract WITHOUT my consent and/or knowledge and were making me sign for a whole new other vehicle. NO ONE got in contact with me about this issue not once. They tried to rush me into signing new paperwork just for their business. After 3 whole weeks I finally got my new vehicle delivered to my residence but later to find out that JORDAN abandoned my trade-in vehicle around the corner of my house. NO ONE called me about anything. I have video and proof he drove off in my old vehicle and tried to lie at his job that no one was home at the time of delivery AFTER HE PERSONALLY GAVE ME THE KEYS TO THE NEW VEHICLE AND VISE VERSA. I had to find out late at night from an officer that my old vehicle was left in front of another house. What kind of dealership does this? This was very unprofessional on their behalf. And to top it off, JORDAN LEFT THE NEW VEHICLE WITHOUT GAS. I was also promised gift cards for gas and NEVER GOT ANYTHING. Great Customer Service. Mr. Paul Carter was injured and still managed to help answer my questions. I had my daughters Dodge Durango Diagnosed and it ended up being the Fuel Pump not sending fuel to the Intake, causing the Start Button to fail. I decided to buy the parts from the Parts Department and Carlos was of much help and stepped out of his way to find my backordered part that was in stock. I will be doing repairs myself to save on labor cost. Looks pretty simple to do with Google help. I will continue to bring business to Ingram Park and continue to bring my vehicles here for service. The returned calls and all the satisfaction that I received was above and beyond. Paul Carter made sure that my parts that were ordered were placed inside our vehicle, prior to having it Towed Away and Carlos was able to make my day by finding and handing me all my ordered parts. Only giving one cause it's required. Worst bait and switch of my life. Even if you call and speak with someone the price will still be inflated when you arrive. I drove from Austin with a quote and told you can't believe the internet sales people "it happens all the time" is what I was told. Deceptive sales tactics to get you in the door and pressure to finance with them or the price gets jacked up. Do business elsewhere.

This scam shop of a dealership represents everything that is wrong with the car-buying process. I’ve dealt with shady dealerships before, but this one is SHADY AF!!! This is next-level robbery. They deliberately deceive customers with fake online prices and then slam you with thousands in hidden fees once you’re in the finance office. 🚩 HERE’S HOW THE SCAM WORKS: 🔹 Online Price: $34,646 (looks good, right?) 🔹 Actual Price When You Get There: $39,999 (before their hidden fees) and standard TTL fees. 🔹 Hidden Fees, They Don’t Tell You About: ✅ $2,999 Reconditioning Fee – NEVER mentioned upfront!!! Honestly it looked like a 5-year-old cleaned the vehicle and don't get me started on the nearly ball tires. So odd, and only 26,000 miles -- they obviously switched all four tires. ✅ $999 Mandatory Tracking Fee, Paint and Interior Protection – Completely unnecessary, especially for a Jeep that already has Jeep Wave tracker for $9.99/month ✅ Other Useless Add-ons – Forced onto every deal So, $39,000 (NEW BASE PRICE) + $2999 (Reconditioning Fee) + $999 (Fake Add-on) + $3000 (TTL) = $45,000 for a 2021 Jeep xxx! I asked the brand-new salesman up front: "Are there any hidden fees?" His response? "Just the $999 tracking fee." He either had no clue, or they trained him to lie. Neither is acceptable. 🚩 THEN CAME THE LIES AND EXCUSES: When I confronted all three of them about these fake fees, I spoke to the salesman, the sales manager, and the sales director. Their responses? ❌ "Well, it’s on our website somewhere… we just don’t know where." - Cody ❌ "If we put the real price online, nobody would come to our dealership." - Cody ❌ "Yeah, we know it’s unethical, but that’s just how the car business works." - Sales Director ❌ And the worst one: "It’s kind of like those commercials where they talk really fast at the end, and hopefully, you don’t hear all the details." - Cody They ADMITTED they hide these fees on purpose! They count on you not noticing until it’s too late. 🚩 THE FINAL INSULT: After exposing their scam, the sales manager looked me dead in the face and said: 👉 "So, you’re not interested?" No apology. No shame. Just a cold-blooded attempt to still close the deal. Then, he actually said: 👉 "I could probably get it down to $39,000 if you sign and buy it today… but you have to finance it through us." At that point, I walked out. 🚩 BUT DON’T WORRY—THEY THROW IN 3 FREE OIL CHANGES! After all this, they still had the nerve to say: 👉 "We take care of the first three oil changes, three tire rotations, and give you three car washes on any used vehicle!" Are you kidding me? Like that somehow makes up for them trying to rob me of thousands of dollars. 🚨 FINAL WARNING: STAY AWAY! 🚨 ⚠️ The price you see online is a LIE. ⚠️ They WILL add thousands in hidden fees. ⚠️ They ADMIT their tactics are unethical. ⚠️ They COUNT ON you not noticing until it’s too late. I wonder if the owners of this dealership or the manufacturer brand they represent would be proud of this? If they actually cared about integrity, they’d put an end to this scam. 🚨 IF YOU’VE BEEN SCAMMED, SPEAK UP 🚨 💬 Leave a review. Warn others. Don’t let them keep getting away with this. Avoid this dealership! We recently bought a car from them and we ended paying more than the asking price! I thought I was paying the sticker price or less. After a couple of days after I realized we paid more than the original asking price, I was in shock. I attempted to return the vehicle under their hassle free return policy within 3 days and was denied. I will never do business with them. And any person. I talk to that is considering buying a car, I will tell them to skip IPAC. And I will share my story with them.

IPAC Dodge: I took me vehicle in for a safety recall and was able to get it looked at that morning. My service agent was Solomon and he is always helpful and comunicates effectively with me and all customers I've seen him engaging with...very professional. I have been a customer of IPAC since 2003 and always have confidence all service issues will be properly addressed when I take my vehicle there.

Short and sweet, they didn’t pay my trade-in off in time, which caused numerous phone calls and headaches from my bank and now my credit report and they didn’t transfer my Disabled Veteran plates like I was told they would (even signed the paperwork to do so). VERY UNETHICAL SALES PRACTICES. We saw an ad for a vehicle posted on November 3rd on their web site with a clearly marked price. We came in on the 10th of November to see the vehicle, we showed the ad to Clifford, the sales person and wanted to put a hold on the vehicle pending a test drive. To which they said no problem and we would have first dibs once they finished prepping it. After lunch we went back to purchase the car and the Sales Manger said the price on file was 50% higher than the ad price. Stating that it was "SUBJECT TO CHANGE" via fine print. They would not honor the advertised price on their own website, which by this time they had removed. This was in spite of us having the advertisement printed and in hand. They flat out said they will not sell us the vehicle at the advertised price and would not consider any further discussion on it. This is in direct violation of Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act & 43 TEX.ADMIN.CODE 215.250. Any Lawyers out there interested in the case? We have all the documentation to support this situation.

Worst dealership in San Antonio Area!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!! You will be disappointed!!! They are great at selling you a lemon, but once you have an issue with the vehicle do not expect the same customer service actually do not even expect a call back. Austin, was great he took the time to show me and take me on test drives in multiple vehicles to help me find the perfect vehicle for me and my family. We got a 2024 Ram 2500 Cummins Laramie and couldn’t be happier with the truck. The Sales strategy implemented by the Sales manager is a bit misleading as the truck was listed with a “Buy It Now Price” with over 10k in incentives yet when we went to finalize the deal we were told me didn’t qualify for all the incentives which would have brought the truck down to said “Buy It Now” price so I do feel it’s a bit of false advertisement or misleading pricing which the sales manager says is covered in the fine print at the bottom of the page where it says “pricing subject to change” in size 4 font. Otherwise the experience was a good one. The sale price of the truck before trade ended up being over 80k. Picture of their Ad is included below.

If you’re looking for a new or used car, IPAC is the place to go. Austin helped me get into the Jeep I wanted quick and easy! Everyone there is kind and efficient and pros at what they do. I appreciate everyone there. Make sure to ask for Austin!
